Kyle Kane is a former private practice law partner and professor who was first introduced to college consulting when she volunteered to counsel first-generation students in local high schools. She decided to specialize in students with learning disabilities when she trained as a college consultant because she "walked the walk" with her own children who struggled with learning differences,
Kyle welcomes all students with learning challenges but has a particular interest and specialty in working with students on the Autism Spectrum. Having taught writing to law students for over 10 years, Kyle also brings an expertise in concise, expressive essay writing instruction to her students.
Kyle is a Professional Member of the Independent Educational Consultants Association (IECA) and has achieved her LD Designation. She serves as the Chair of the LD Committee of IECA and also trains independent educational consultants in working with students with learning challenges all across the country. She is an active member of the Learning Disabilities Association, the Autism Society, and the International Dyslexia Association and regularly attends training and seminars to remain abreast of all new developments in the field. She is constantly traveling with her colleagues to college campuses around the country to gain the knowledge necessary to ensure a good fit between her students' strengths and challenges and the college.
Kyle sees clients primarily by Zoom/Skype and maintains a national client-base.
